On March 30th 2024 shortly after 1AM Eastern, we experienced some issues On March 30th, 2024, shortly after 1 AM Eastern, we experienced issues with the website that affected two main areas: image serving and the “most searched” list.
Image Serving
Due to an internal experiment activated on the production backend, images across the website failed to display properly, resulting in an HTTP error for most images. Only the image serving was impacted, and during this time, users saw the “missing” placeholder for all images.
Solution: We reversed the backend changes, deactivating the experiment on the image-serving module. The issue has been resolved, and image serving has been restored.
Most Searched
An issue caused the “most searched” list to display unexpected results. We’re still investigating the cause, but in the meantime, we’ve restored an older dataset to ensure functionality.
Solution: We’ve implemented an older dataset for the “most searched” list and will continue working on restoring the live list as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience! The website is back to normal operation, and we’ve removed the maintenance banner.
